Schedule

A comprehensive two day hands on training course covering the configuration, administration, and every-day use of CiviCRM. This event is aimed at administrators and technical users at organisations that are either using CiviCRM, or interested in evaluating it. It is also useful for staff at organizations that develop or implement CiviCRM who need a complete understanding of "out of the box" features and configuration options.

Developers who are new to CiviCRM can get started with contributing to and extending CiviCRM by coming to the Developer Training, which will be at the Friends Meeting of Washington, DC on Saturday, September 13.  The training will cover using the API, writing extensions, and preparing a development environment and committing code back to core, plus much more.

If you're attending your first code sprint, the Developer Training is a must, and to encourage you to attend, you can attend the training for free if you register for three or more days at the sprint.  We'll also form a carpool to the sprint site at the end of the training.

Code and Documentation Sprint

We will have a CiviCRM sprint from September 14 to 18 in Jefferson, Maryland, about an hour outside Washington, DC. The idea is to have as many community members present as possible so we can make good progress on writing code, improving the books and having a good time! The registration fee pays for meals and lodging for the time you'll be with us. We can provide transportation from the nearest commuter rail station. Folks will begin arriving the afternoon of Saturday, September 13. You can take part for any number of days.  Priorities for the sprint will be set as the date approaches, but please expect to work on something that's a priority for the project that uses or extends the skills you bring, be it writing code, testing workflows and usability, or documenting features.
